solids from solid using method of sieving.

habits and retain the good habits.
In our day to day life separation
of useful substances from unwanted substances is very common. One of the
simplest method of separating unwanted materials from the useful ones method of
sieving. Sieving is used for separating solid constituents of a mixture which
differ in their sizes. Students separated chaff from wheat flour through
sieving. The bigger particles of chaff are retained by the sieve whereas
smaller particles of wheat flour pass through it. Students enjoyed thoroughly
performing this activity.
